Wonderful! February 3, 2010 Lalie I recently received my first "point shoot" digital camera from my husband for my birthday. I've had a lot of experience with digital cameras for years. I never had a small camera case. This case came with the camera. It is wonderful. It supports the camera and protects the camera. It fits in my larger camera cases along with my other camera(s). Now when I go on my next trip in July, I can take my larger camera case and put this one in with the other camera and know that my camera is protected.
Was there no product testing? January 19, 2010 L. Lane (somewhere over the rainbow) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this case to hold my new Fuji FinePix 200 EXR. I have always had a fitted case for my past cameras and again wanted something to protect my investment. The camera itself, fits in the case well. Its not too tight a squeeze, but I did use caution as another review mentioned the shutter button sticking out a bit and not fitting well. I don't think this will be a major issue as the sides do have some give. However, the hole for the strap to go through is worthless. It is not big enough for the plastic pieces on the strap to fit though. Why Fuji didn't cut the whole a bit bigger is beyond me. It would have no impact on the integrity of the case. While the fabric strap fits, I am left with two plastic pieces sitting on the camera between the camera and the top of the case. This DOES impact the integrity of the case as it will not shut properly. The only option is to leave the strap hanging out the side of the case. Foolish mistake, Fuji. When will this be corrected? I hope I'll get one at no cost. If you really want to, you can force the plastic part through the hole, but I noticed this puts strain on the case itself.
Not the best design for the camera. December 17, 2009 Linda Katz 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The hole on the case that is meant to put the camera strap through is too narrow to accommodate the plastic thing that's attached to the strap.
Excellent for the camera November 21, 2009 E. B. Benson (New England, USA) This case is handsome and a great fit for the camera, if only there were room for the camera's wrist strap in the case. Because the case is a nice snug fit for the camera the wrist strap hangs outside the case, or one can fold up the wrist strap just under the case flap. Unlike some of the other reviewers I have not experienced the camera controls getting caught by the case. The case is designed to be worn on one's belt: it has a belt loop on the back. The top and bottom of the loop are sewn onto the case so one cannot flip open the loop to attach the case to a back pack strap or other strap that does not have an open end to slip in the belt loop. All told, the case is a great way to protect the camera and very convenient for wearing on one's belt.
Camera Case for Fuji Camera November 11, 2009 C. Flook (USA) The camera case isn't exactly what I expected. There's a glitch in the construction that catches on my camera's top controls when I insert it. I had to stretch the camera case so that would not happen. Also the top does not completely cover the camera on the sides. There is a hole on the top that I assume the camera handle fits into, but it doesn't make alot of sense. But the hole also opens the camera up to humidity if outside. I would not recommend this product.
