Good Battery at a Reasonable Price - Recommended April 4, 2009 CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The TechFuel Battery for the Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR 12MP Super CCD Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Dual Image Stabilized Optical Zoom is a good backup battery for the Fujifilm NP-50 Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery for Fuji F60fd, F50fd & F100fd Digital Cameras. While not as long lasting as the Fuji OEM battery (800mAh vs 1000mAh), the TechFuel battery is still good for well over 100 shots with light flash usage. The battery took about 1.5 hours to fully charge, compared to 2 hours for the NP-50. Since there are few things worse than having your battery die when you are at an event, it is is a good idea to have a spare battery on hand. We keep the origional Fuji battery in the camera and the TechFule battery in the camera case, stored in the plastic sleeve that came with the F200EXR. This way we have a battery in standby for when we need it. At a cost that is significantly less than the Fuji NP-50, and only slightly less performace, this is a very good value. Recommended!
